What was the challenge?
Westcoast needed to modernise the materials handling fleet at across 400,000 square foot distribution centres. Guaranteed uptime and operator safety were critical, and Westcoast wanted a fleet that was genuinely tailored to its operation rather than a like-for-like replacement.

A bespoke mix of reach trucks, high and low level order pickers with advanced Birdseye safety systems, VNA trucks, counterbalance trucks fitted with specialist clamp attachments for handling white goods, and wide straddle stackers was specified after detailed site measurements and discussions around controller options and safety systems.
