AXiA sit-on stackers are a flexible and cost-effective choice for stacking and internal transport in warehousing, manufacturing, and anywhere else safe, productive stacking is required. Platform stackers are more commonly used for these tasks but typically have lower maximum lift heights.
AXiA XL models with telescopic forks enable more flexible handling of long loads and work with double deep racking setups. Double deep racking stores four pallets between aisles, reducing storage cost per square meter by up to 17% and increasing pallet locations by 25–30%.
Many businesses will also use reach trucks for stacking tasks where even a light reach truck may be over-specified for the job. If the work requires lifting to 7 m or less, the AXiA sit-on stacker makes for an excellent low-cost alternative. The optional side stabilizers allow for easier lifting of heavy loads to height, with capacities not far from more expensive reach trucks.

Key Features
Mini steering wheel with floating armrest
This ergonomically adjustable control setup makes operating far more comfortable for the driver during long shifts. This not only minimises fatigue, keeping them more focused and productive, but reduces the risk of RSI and other strains in the neck and shoulders, a common cause of driver absence which comes with related costs.
Enhanced Stability System (ESS)
As well as the high-stability chassis design, automatic systems are in place additional to automatically reduce acceleration during sharper turns and reduce drive speed when forks are above 1.2 m.
Convenient charging
An external battery plug allows for easy charging of Lead-acid batteries without the need to unplug the internal connection. For safety, the truck is unable to operate while plugged in. (Option).
Telescopic forks
Not only do these allow for a double deep stacking set up in the warehouse, but they can be extended to carry two pallets at a time or long goods. They also allow for further reach across lorry beds and conveyors, meaning loading and unloading can be carried out from one side.
Folding side stabilizers
The stabilizers fold up and down simultaneously with the forks for efficient stacking operations, significantly increasing residual capacities on high lift heights. (Option)
Li-ion battery
This option allows for quick charging, while minimising maintenance - avoiding the need for costly extra batteries and time-consuming changeovers. (Option).
Wide straddle models
Positioning the legs on the outside of a pallet allows the forks to work with close-bottomed pallets and specialised loads. The open space also enable the use of a variety of special handling attachments e.g. spikes, clamps, rolls, etc. Standard width between straddles is 750 mm or 950 mm. Other widths are available if required.
360° Steering
Allows smooth turning without the 'pause' of a 3-point turn. It not only saves time in each and every turn - which adds up over the length of a shift - but puts less force on the load. This makes for quicker, safer, and more stable operation. (Option)
